We were distressed and had to wait another hour and a half for the next bus. I tried to call the bus people and just kept getting a recording, tried the casino and they had no way of contacting the bus company either. The bus driver turned his head to look across the traffic lanes of Veterans Blvd., concluded no one was there, and continued to drive on.
As I waited in the parking lot with my 83-year-old father, seated in the car, the bus never turned around and kept going. The contracted SANMO bus passed right by our 8 am pickup spot in Redwood City at the park and ride.
